Welcome to Personal Success Online
If finding the right piece of paper on your desk requires heavy lifting machinery then you’re going to love Jeffrey Davidson’s article on ‘Handling The Paper You Acquire’. Incidentally, if you’re primarily a Visual and you like to ‘see’ your plans and want something more exciting than Excel - check out the brilliant Notezilla system, a computerised Post-It note and memo board. (Just Google ‘Notezilla’) Fantastic fun!
Knowing how much you love tips of any kind, we have some great coaching tips this week, courtesy of the leadership, management and organisational consultancy Trans4mation.
And if you’re a parent, guardian or childminder, you’ll welcome Parent Coach Lorraine Thomas’ very timely article, ‘Give Your Kids A Break, Surviving Family Holidays’.
I’d like to dedicate this week’s edition of PS Online to all the courageous emergency service people, members of the armed services and volunteers who have worked so tirelessly to bring help to the thousands of people around the UK whose homes, businesses, property and lives have been so badly affected by the floods that arrived late last week. Where would we be without them! Our thoughts are of course with those people who have been so affected.
On behalf of The Academy Club team, I’d like to wish you a week of great inspiration!
