Welcome to Personal Success Online
Welcome to the start of another gorgeous week! Thank you to everyone who has been sending in lovely email messages and story ideas… please keep sending them in… we love receiving them!
It’s so easy to become caught up in the ‘drama’ of our lives … the deadlines, the busy-ness of it all… and to forget that now is what is important… to stop, look up, look around, breathe deeply, appreciate who and what we have in our lives, smile and enjoy the moment.
Every so often an email arrives that makes me laugh and remember that it’s me who has created the drama, the busy-ness and, in the words of the song, ‘all that jazz’ … that life is a collection of never-to-be repeated precious moments. I recently received just such a reminder from two hugely inspirational women who I am blessed to have in my life… my mother, life coach Mary-Jane Hilton (and a Coaching Academy graduate!) and her great friend Yvonne Dufaur … with the advice that I should “stick this message to your computer, mirror and forehead and whatever else it takes to commit it to memory” …
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, ‘Woohooo, what a ride!’ Have a wonderful day!”
In the same irreverent deliciously life-affirming spirit, I share this wonderful joyous and thoroughly inspiring message that Sam Scott, Coaching Academy graduate and the head of Motivated Mums Life Coaching Company was good enough to share… a message from the poet Maya Angelou.
On behalf of the Academy Club Team, may I wish you a week in which you rejoice in the moment many, many times!
